Hygge Arts & Crafts - slow and cosy

Welcome to our 'hygge' home! In addition to the studio spaces listed here, we also use local venues for larger events. We also have a comprehensive offer for schools which includes full day supply cover, and an offer of workshops for clubs and associations. We are all safeguarding trained, insured and hold an enhanced DBS

Activity Rooms

Our lovely open plan orangery is a light and airy room in which we lead courses in acrylic, watercolour and mixed media painting, silk painting, quilling and textile art. It's also the perfect space for evening events, leading into the 1930s bar, especially our historical fashion and portrait history workshops.

For Home Educated / Education otherwise young people we can teach maths and English through the arts in a Waldorf / Nordic style.

Garden Studio

The garden studio is where we focus on heavier practical Waldorf/Hygge traditional crafts such as woodwork, wirework, leathercraft, paper making, weaving, wood burning.

Our lovely library is the perfect calm space for 1:1 and 1:2 female coaching support, meditation and therapeutic mindful arts approaches. Come and invest some time in you and take a break from all the noise of life!

UNIT D - CONTAINER STUDIO, MAKERS' YARD, ALDERSHOT

Our lovely calm studio with easy parking nearby!

Pop in and see our studio in Makers' Yard, Aldershot. There are lots of great places to grab a coffee in this new development too, as well as lots of galleries and fellow makers. We are experimenting with putting our classes on ClassBento, but this is very new! You can pop in and book / pay directly with us, as well as having a browse in our little gift shop (We take card or cash).

We have the classes diary there and can create a group class for you right away! You can also book sip n craft sessions for hen nights etc too! We are super-flexible as we strongly advocate that Art is for All!

Our Aldershot studio is very small, but we are using it as a hub to encourage the development of Aldershot as a creative hub locally, We try to put on lots of free crafting events, especially at the weekend, and are keen to hear from local groups and associations who would like to come and tour Maker's Yard on a Wednesday afternoon where we will put on a free heritage craft demonstration for you!
