Different Venues for classes
In addition to the studio spaces listed here, I also use local venues for larger events. I also have a comprehensive offer for schools which includes full day supply cover, and an offer of workshops for clubs and associations - pick up a leaflet at Maker's Yard or email to join my monthly newsletter list (paper copies of the newsletter from Maker's Yard)

MAKER'S YARD
Maker's Yard is a collection of creatives based in a trendy shipping container development! My studio here has a small shop area and is where I work in mixed media, including courses and coaching,
FREE OFFERS:
Toddler Tuesdays - activities and EYFS support drop-in for parents, 10:30 - 1:30
Saturday craft table - All ages
COMING SOON! I will soon be opening a new activity room, so that a full set of classes can run in a separate space to the gift shop and gallery! This also means that the gift shop will be able to hold a wider selection of art and Waldorf / Montessori learning materials!

GU11 STUDIO
My home studio is where I focus on 'heavier' artworks that include leathercraft, wood burning or woodcarving. I also use this studio to teach these types of crafts.
1:1 tuition is £36 per hour or there are small group courses throughout the year too
For Home Educated / Education otherwise young people I can teach maths and English through the arts in a Waldorf style also.

GU11 Activity Rooms
I also use my lovely large 'art gallery' room, where I have work displayed by several leading artists, to facilitate baby support classes for new mums, including baby massage
Courses in nature
I also teach mindfulness arts courses at local beauty spots in the summer months

Victorian Fashion workshop
A deep dive into the history of Victorian fashion and then creating a beautiful oval mixed media response using your own ideas, and the ideas bank - with lots of advice and support.

'Flappers!'
This is an afternoon/ evening at GU11 Studio and house. We will look at the history of Flappers and 1920s art and design. We will create a response in mixed media. The evening will conclude with a 1920s style cocktail and refreshments. Adults only.

After the Lion Dance at 13:00 in Wellington Street, come along to Maker's Yard where we will have a free table to make a dancing dragon craft and there will be horse colouring sheets too!

CIRCUS! 10-4PM 21ST MARCH
There is an event in Union Yard and Hygge-Hugs will be joining in with lots of FREE activities for children. Come and help us make a life size clown model, pick up my bespoke colouring sheets of circus performers or sit and make a mini circus top model!

ST ANDREW'S DAY - MONDAY 30TH NOVEMBER
TUITION 1:1 / 1:2 (Shared cost) £36 per hour
Maths, English (handwriting, reading, writing, spelling), science and humanities work taught through the arts and creative project work.
We also run 'Mindful Mondays' tuition classes of just 4 students in designated age groups at just £15 per session. These are 'after school' sessions but for home-educated young people we can also provide daytime services.
Pure arts tuition also available!
Early Years Foundations Support
Support with key skills and learning through play. Advice for parents and direct work with parent and child. £30 per hour. We also run group classes throughout the week and our FREE toddler events too! Soon, with an increased space, there will be more EYFS materials available to purchase too alongside other gifts and gallery works.
